Community Programs

Humboldt Connections

Humboldt Connections is a program open to residents of Humboldt County who have been in the area fewer than five years. Beneficial to those who are seeking professional development opportunities, or to those who have relocated to the area with a spouse or partner who are pursuing those opportunities.

Goals of the program include: the creation of meaningful connections with others in the program and other Humboldt County residents, offer professional networking opportunities in engaging and enjoyable atmospheres, and to showcase Humboldt County.

Humboldt Connections focuses on readjustment, reintegration, and aims to assist newer residents in finding autonomy and independence in the community we call home. By touring businesses, highlighting community projects, and networking with others in a similar circumstance, the program aims to connect and engage those in the program. The AEDC wants to make the Humboldt County experience -a positive and long lasting one.

The cost for the four month program is $100. Some scholarships may be available. Apply here
