Become a Member

Become a member of Arcata Economic Development Corporation and support small business growth and development on the Northcoast. If you or your business resides within AEDC's service area of Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Siskiyou or Trinity counties, you can be a member and keep up with economic development issues that impact you.

We are seeking representatives from government or economic development and community organizations, financial institutions and businesses.

Members are asked to complete a membership survey each year. In addition they are requested to commit to two of the following activities annually:

Committee choices include Loan Committee, Finance Committee and Program Committee. The Loan committee meets monthly, Program committee meets bimonthly or as needed and the Finance committee meets quarterly. For descriptions of the committee charters, click here.

Members receive the quarterly AEDC News and occasional mailings on events of interest.

AEDC Mission Statement:

Arcata Economic Development Corporation provides loans and support to entrepreneurial, innovative and community endeavors.

Since 1978, AEDC has been involved in making or servicing a total of 567 small business loans worth a total of more than $17.7 million dollars.

AEDC has also helped to rehab over 200 housing units in Arcata through City of Arcata loans.
